‘Naam Hi Pehchaan Hai’ for B L AGRO’s Brand Bail Kolhu

Overview:

We love challenges! But to work with a client as big as B L Agro Industries Ltd, it was more than a challenge. It was about getting inspired.

Challenge:

With a name as big as this, we had to ensure there first ever introduction on screens was just as big.

While social media has been managed for years now, getting it televised across channels meant – THIS WAS BIG!

And it is here that we got our hook ‘Naam Hi Pehchaan Hai’

It was synonymous with their brand; as Bail Kolhu was a name – a name built through trust and sheer hard work. And a pehchaan – of so many households. Day in and day out a brand that was now a solid member of households across India.

Now that we had the hook, the next big step was to understand how this makes sense with the celebrities they got on board.

But this was not a hurdle at all. We got to know the names and instantly understood why.

Manoj Bajpayee, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Pankaj Tripathi.

This wasn’t difficult at all! Why?

Because these distinguished personalities were exactly what a flagship product like Bail Kolhu was.

Humble beginnings, no godfathers, hustle, hard work and today a name known by all. This entire journey seamlessly fit in with Bail Kolhu as a brand.

Solution:

With clear parallels between the faces and the brand, execution became our next step.

We took inspiration from Bail Kolhu’s journey. Heard from the Chairman of BL Agro Industries Limited, Dr. Ghanshyam Khandelwal himself of what and when Bail Kolhu was seeded.

Day after day, week after week, month after month – we finally had three solid concepts for the brand ambassadors that were unique in their own way yet rooted to the hook of ‘Naam Hi Pehchaan Hai’.

From here own the journey was the usual camaraderie between us and the client.

The final campaign aired on 1st May across most prominent channels and multiple slots.

Task

Just like every client, we got our hands on the company's history, struggle and journey. When we dived deeper, we understood why Bail Kolhu - a mustard oil Brand of B L Agro is so popular. It's not purely business. It's the passion and dedication they had as an organization that translated into a name, so many households trust.
